Our mission is about giving you — our readers — a platform to participate actively in our reporting processes. We operate as a journalistic community and strongly believe that our stories only become powerful and helpful for you if you — our audiences — are directly involved in our storytelling. We offer many opportunities for collaboration including content co-creation and co-distribution, news tips and live journalism events co-existing. Join a WhatsApp Group

We run various community WhatsApp groups for listening, feedback and content distribution. These groups have no more than 250 drawn from different parts of our targeted communities in Matabeleland. In our groups, we strive to maintain high community standards to ensure that our members are able to freely express themselves without fear of victimization and or retribution. Members are free to exit the group anytime with or without cause. However, we are always ready and willing to listen to resolve any problems relating to our community, so that we serve our members to the best of our abilities.
Join a WhatsApp Broadcast List
If you prefer to stay clear of the WhatsApp Group “noise” you can join our WhatsApp Broadcast list. To join, send the word “BROADCAST” to +263 7 18636460. Our broadcast lists are different from our groups because messaging is personalized. We strive not to spam our members by sending no more than five stories per day. Members can opt out from the list by sending the word ‘REMOVE’ to our WhatsApp number.

You can text us, call directly or via us WhatsApp on +263 7 18636460. We are only able to take call/respond to text messages between 9.00am and 5:00pm daily from Monday to Friday. Non-urgent weekend communication will ordinarily be responded to on Monday.
